Based in Pershore, Worcestershire, UK, SmithTaylor designs and manufactures a wide range of unique decorative clocks, chalkboards, coasters and placemats. The collection is expanding every day as we add more designs, so keep coming back for the latest updates.

Made in the UK

SmithTaylor is proud to be able to say that all its products are designed and manufactured in the UK.

We use FSC certified MDF as the base material for our products and eco-solvent inks for printing.

Clocks

Sizes:
Standard Round - 283mm dia.
Standard Square - 283 x 283mm
Mantle Shelf - 150mm x 150mm

Materials:
6mm MDF painted edges and reverse. Vinyl print laminated to surface. No glass.

Clock Movements:
Standard quartz movement with integral hanger
Requires 1 x AA battery (not supplied)
All our Children's Clocks are manufactured using super-quiet sweep movements.

Message Boards

Materials:
4mm and 6mm MDF
Some designs painted with applied printed designs.

Coasters and Placemats

Coasters - 100mm diameter and 100mm x 100mm square.
Placemats - 225mm x 225mm or 240mm x 190mm

Materials:
3mm Table Mat Grade Hardboard. Front face with applied printed and laminated vinyl design with 1.5mm cork applied to reverse.
Front surfaces are stain resistant and wipe clean. They are heat resistant for normal use (coffee mugs and dinner plates) but will not withstand the heat of dishes straight from the oven or pans from the hob.

Special Orders:

Special sizes and/or colours of all our products can be produced as special orders and alternative shapes and designs can be manufactured to your designs if you require. Please contact us for a quotation.

Please note that some of our clocks are intentionally designed to have the appearance of being three dimensional, but (apart from the hands) they all have a completely flat front surface.
